Ohio University Rose Bowl 2010 Commemorative Calendars

The Ohio University of Athens, Ohio started 2010 with a bang! The Marching 110 band was invited to participate in the Rose Bowl Parade. This annual event held in Pasadena, California on New Year's Day is very popular, and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for both students and parents.

CUSTOM Calendars!

The president of World Digital Imaging, Craig Howick, was proud to have his son participate in this honor. As a way to show his parental pride, Craig spearheaded a project to create commemorative calendars to celebrate both the event and the Marching 110 participants. Craig worked with one of our in-house graphic designers, Natalie Blake, to create a beautiful 2010 calendar design.

Not only is the calendar design elegant and full of school spirit, but it can also be customized! Parents can now place orders for these custom 2010 calendars—with photos of their child—and share the memories with friends and family.

If you as a parent were unable to attend, and thus do not have photos of the event, we have uploaded a large selection of Rose Bowl Parade photos for you to add to your calendar. Getting Started

To place your order for a custom 2010 Rose Bowl Parade Commemorative Calendar, you'll first need to gather your photos. You'll need a total of 16 photos. High resolution digital photos in .jpg file format are preferred, which may be submitted via email, our online order form (see below), CD/DVD, or flash drive. You may also drop off or mail photos to us to be scanned. (Note that this will incur an additional fee.)

Digital photos should be at least medium-resolution, with a size of at least 1600x1200 pixels. This is a 1.9 megapixel size on your camera's settings, resulting in a digital file that is about 350 kilobytes.

File formats accepted are .jpg, .tiff or .psd. Please do NOT email/upload raw photo files or files larger than 7 megabytes each. (Files larger than 7 megabytes will need to be submitted to us via CD/DVD or flash drive.)

Please decide which photos you'd like on which pages, according to the following templates:

For digital files, please rename your photos with the names given in the templates above. If you want to include photos from our Rose Bowl Parade 2010 album, just make note of the photos names, and in which spaces they will go.

Once you've decided on the arrangement of your photos within the calendar and renamed your digital photos, you're ready to place your order!

Pricing

OU photo calendars are just $19.95 for the first calendar, then $5.95 for additional calendars. Custom dates, such as birthdays, anniversaries, important school dates, etc., may be added for $0.15 each.

Place Order in Person or By Phone

If you can not place your order online, or prefer guidance in placing your order, you can order by phone or in person.

To place your order by phone, first follow the steps above under Getting Started to prepare your photos. Photos may be emailed to us when placing a phone order. To place your phone order, call: 937-431-1982.

To place an order in person, bring your digital photos with you on CD/DVD or a flash drive, or you may bring physical photos for us to scan. (An additional scanning fee will apply.)

Place Order by Mail

A third option for placing your OU Custom Calendar order is by mail. View and print the order form here.

For orders placed by mail, first follow the steps above under Getting Started to prepare your photos. Photos may be emailed to us. Or you may mail a CD/DVD or flash drive with your photos on it with your order. Your CD/DVD or flash drive will be mailed back to you with your completed custom calendar order.
